Over the course of these spots, my role was motion and style development. Collaborating closely with Cat McCarthy during the initial phases, we drew inspiration from Sarofsky's previous Discover spots, using them as a foundational reference for the conception and motion of these new sequences. These spots relied heavily on type animation and video reactions to certain phrases. To heighten their impact both visually and in motion, we integrated the breakdown of sentences, phrases, and words, emphasizing their significance throughout. This enhanced the overall visual impact and narrative of the Discover card.
